Scleroderma foundation's mission is threefold: 1) support to help patients and their families cope with scleroderma through mutual support programs, peer counseling, physician referrals, and educational information. 2) education to promote public awareness and education through patient and health professional seminars, literature, and publicity campaigns. And 3) research to stimulate and support research to improve treatments and, ultimately, find the cause of and cure for scleroderma.

Education and Support

The national scleroderma foundation provides educational programs for those affected by scleroderma, and their healthcare providers. These include chapter educational events held in partnership with local academic centers, as well as online webinars and other virtual opportunities.

The foundation is the leading nonprofit funding scleroderma research in the united states. Through its peer reviewed research grants program, the national scleroderma foundation fosters the development of innovative, high-quality research by new and established investigators in fields related to scleroderma.
