Housing Equity

We held a successful event with our Mayor where she committed to releasing $11M this year for the construction of new affordable housing and behavioral health. Over 225 people from 20 different institutions attended the event, building a long term constituency with an understanding of how local policy affects housing accessibility.

Leadership Development

We developed 54 new volunteers for leadership positions through active participation in leadership roles, local campaigns and actions. A total of 97 volunteer leaders participated in our Delegate Assembly and End of Year Celebration. 30 key leaders participated in a full-day Leaders Retreat in December.

Quality Jobs

The Jobs Team conducted numerous research meetings with policy experts, BIPOC communities, and union members to develop a Community Workforce Agreement, which would set high standards for publicly-funded construction jobs and prioritize access to public jobs for low-income zip codes.
