Scholarships

We offered eight continuing education scholarship offerings: lifetime member, kendell ong, simply business, ivy, k18, milady, rosy salon software, my salon suite. The reuben carranza leadership scholarship provides leadership development training to awarded professional beauty association staff.

Disaster Relief

To assist salon professionals in rebuilding their lives following the devastation of a natural disaster. In 2023, we disbursed $73,100 to aid 144 beauty professionals in their recovery from the florida flooding, winter storm elliott, MD winter storm, MS/AR/OK tornadoes, ok windstorm, co storms, hi maui wildfires, TN tornado and hurricane…

Cut IT Out

To build awareness of domestic abuse across the country and train salon professionals to recognize warnings signs and safely refer clients to local resources. In 2023, the strength in beauty grant awarded $20,500 in funding to 13 domestic violence survivors in need of financial & job placement assistance.
