Covid-19 Relief Fund

Created this fund to support licensed beauty professionals who were not able to work or experienced financial hardships due to the COVID-19 outbreak. In 2020, we gave aid to 3099 professionals. There was an influx of donations right at the end of 2020, so the remainder of donations were awarded to grantees in 2021.

Disaster Relief

To assist salon professionals in rebuilding their lives following the devastation of a natural disaster. In 2020, we disbursed $100,250 to aid 135 beauty professionals in their recovery from the nashville tornado, hurricane laura, florida flooding and the california wildfires.

Scholarships

We offered four educational scholarship offerings: lifetime member & kendall ong memorial scholarship for member continuing education, and the minerva and rosy salon software scholarships for student tuition.
