Our second outstanding service accomplishment lies in the work we completed to share the findings of our 2021 iowa LGBTQ health needs assessment. This assessment, completed in partnership with the iowa department of health and human services, focuses on issues facing the LGBTQ community in the state of iowa.

In 2022, one iowa set record numbers in the amount of outreach and training provided to the surrounding community. With 105 trainings completed throughout the state of iowa and over 5,000 individual attendees, our trainings continue to make a huge impact in our communities.

Throughout the course of 2022, we graduated 17 LGBTQ leaders from across the state of iowa from our one iowa LGBTQ leadership institute. The leadership institute is a program that uplifts and empowers LGBTQ folks from across the state as they serve the LGBTQ community.
