Where the work happens
Gwc Clubs
A free after-school program for 3RD-5TH and 6TH-12TH grade girls. Clubs can be run in-person or virtually, following adaptation made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The clubs curriculum includes activities for girls with zero computer science experience as well as activities that introduce college-level coding concepts.
The Summer Immersion Program
A free 2-WEEK virtual summer program launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 that iterated on our original 7 week in-person program for rising 11TH and 12TH grade girls to learn computer science. It considers accessibility issues, wifi, hardware, and living circumstances.
Gwc Marketing
Promotes widespread campaigns to change the perception of what a coder is and looks like through in person events, online platforms, books, and education of public officials.
