Community Engagement
Community Engagement served 894 unique community engagement and community wellness participants, including 155 Friendly Visitor matches (now Friendly Callers). Openhouse served 542 meals before the COVID-19 shutdown and conducted 1,739 intergenerational activity hours.
Build-Out
Openhouse completed its new Community Center at 75 Laguna Street in San Francisco. The 7100-sq.ft. facility offers capacity for up to 5,000 community members per year. There are spaces for lifelong learning, art, social day programs, and evening gatherings for approximately 200.
Housing
Openhouse Housing & Resource Navigation, serving the largest number of community members at 1,142 unique clients in 2020, conducted 24 housing workshops for 225 attendees, and held 123 individual counseling sessions. All workshops, counseling sessions and resource referrals are held on Zoom or by phone until further notice.
