In 2021, over 2,695 hours of volunteer time was contributed to accomplishing tax-aid's mission. Working virtually, 336 tax-aid volunteers prepared 2020 federal and state income tax returns for 2,257 low-income taxpayers in the san francisco bay area generating tax refunds of 1,210,186. COVID-19 extended 2020 tax deadline to may 15, 2021.

Tax-aid closed the financial coaching program this fiscal year due to low client interest. Tax-aid successfully coached over 15 clients from 2012 through 2020.
