Where the work happens
Donor network west supported thousands of families last year through their grief as they suffered the loss of their loved ones. Families were either informed of their loved one's donation decision made on the donor registry or authorized donation for their loved one.
Donor families are cared for throughout the donation process and following donation. Our professional staff provides support and information in the moment and provides aftercare resources and support to donor families for a year postdonation. Donor network west hosted three separate regional donor family ceremonies in 2024.
The shortage of available organs is a serious healthcare issue as approximately 17-22 people nationally will die each day waiting for an organ transplant.
