Westside school presents a program where children experience the excitement of learning through academic achievement, creative expression, and cooperation with others. We believe that the cultivation of problem-solving, innovative analytical thinking and complex communication skills provides a strong foundation for lifelong success.

The Westside school extended day program provides a safe, fun environment for children. It provides opportunities to socialize, play games, do homework, and arts and crafts projects. Westside school also offers afterschool enrichment classes.

Westside school implements state and national grade level standards within each classroom. To effectively assist students' academic progress, the classroom teacher periodically assesses each child using a variety of formal and informal tools. Results of these assessments are shared with the parents.
