Barr Camp provides information, education, support, shelter and food to hikers and and runners using Pikes Peak. During 2023, the Caretakers recorded 13,002 visitors to Barr Camp, which included 2,238 overnight guests. It also provides year-round aid and support to individuals and groups and serves as a rescue operations base for hikers.
