Public Education and Outreach

Utahns for Responsive Government (DBA Better Boundaries), provides education and outreach across Utah to increase understanding of fair representation and transparent redistricting. The organizationconducts community presentations, public trainings, and digital campaigns explaining how maps are drawn and why fair processes matter.

Advocacy and Ballot Defense (amendment D)

In 2024, Better Boundaries led the statewide campaign to oppose Amendment D, a legislative proposal that would have weakened Utahs citizen initiative process and undermined the fair redistricting standards voters enacted through Proposition 4.

Better Boundaries supports litigation defending Proposition 4 and promoting transparency in Utah's redistricting process. The organization works with attorneys and policy partners to analyze legislative maps, track compliance with fair-map standards, and communicate updates to the public.
