Capacitar Internationals mission is healing ourselves, healing our world. In fulfillment of this mission, it provides holistic health and wellness education for people suffering from stress or trauma as a result of civil, domestic and political violence, natural disasters, illness such as cancer or HIV/AIDS, and poverty, both within the United States and internationally. It produces, and where applicable, produces and translates training manuals, DVDs, and other learning materials.

General Program

In 2025, Capacitar programs nationally and internationally served thousands of people from 18 countries and 4 US states. Because of the popular education methodology, local teams multiplied the teachings so that many thousands more received the benefit of learning the Capacitar practices in all of the countries served.

In 2025, Capacitar International teams facilitated hundreds of workshops for thousands of people in person and via Zoom technology with many more thousands benefiting from the popular education multiplier effect.

National Program

In the in-person program Capacitar facilitated two foundation trainings and two advanced training for medical and other health professionals in Arizona. In addition, it provided a refugee outreach workshop in the Tucson area. In Texas it facilitated one of the Modules of the Foundation Training for people working in health care.
