Children and youth in september, post 45 voted to charter boy scouts of america troop 316. The post sent one boy to georgia boys state and presented four jrotc awards and thrity four school awards. In addition to local newspaper articles, our activities were featured in seven articles on american legion hometown news.

Veteran's care & rehabilitation the post service officer handled five hundred and twenty five cases for veterans. Cases included the following type of cases: veteran homelessness, veteran va medical and benefit claims, veteran renatl assistance, ssdi benefit assistance, vehicle donations, along with other various cases.

National security ten veterans placed in employement and six in job training programs. Americanism the post sent 12 pallets of products to kentucky in support of tornado relief. 3,500 coats were donated and found new oweners, including afganistan reugees, non-profit organizations, VFW posts and other organizations.
