Where the work happens
Shelter
Safe harbor's emergency shelters are confidentially located in three upstate south carolina counties (greenville, anderson, and oconee). Services offered for survivors and their children include a safe place to stay, food and household supplies, advocacy services, and client support needs.
Housing Assistance
Safe harbor provides housing assistance to survivors of domestic abuse for up to 24 months. Housing clients receive rent and utilities assistance as well as access to case management and supportive services. 39 households (100 adults and children total) received housing assistance in 2024.
Community Services
Safe harbor's community services include clinical psychotherapy, case management, legal advocacy, and domestic abuse education. Services are available to survivors in greenville, anderson, pickens, and oconee counties in upstate south carolina. The community services program provided 2,622 hours of direct services to 262 clients in 2024.
