Covid-19 Immigrant Relief

In 2020, the organization received a 38,000,000 grant from the wa COVID-19 immigrant relief fund designated for one-time cash asisstance payments to eligible applicants experiencing hardship due to the public health emergency related to the coronavirus disease; final disbursements for this program were made in 2021.

The raise wages now project was a fiscally sponsored project of the fair work center. RWN performed research and design work around a potential national membership organization offering both advocacy tools and financial health products, dedicated to building a more financially secure future for workers and their families.

The fair work center conducts community-based know your rights workshops about workplace rights; we provide resources outlining working rights and protections, and we help workers navigate city, state and federal government agencies to enforce those rights.
