Community science workshops provided more than 700 hands-on science learning experiences to over 2500 students at 7 schools, our newly created contra costa science workshop, located in the boys & girls martinez clubhouse and through several steam fairs and community events.

Our earth ambassadors program expanded summer camp offerings and community events. Eco-kids workshops and national park camps provided nature-based environmental experiences to 97 students, 19 of whom we granted scholarships to increase access for youth.

Community garden workshops provided nature-based educational experiences to over 760 students in contra costa county. 600 seedlings were planted by crockett and rodeo youth in their community garden and native pollinator- friendly plants were planted and cared for in the martinez unified community garden.
