Where the work happens
Biological Research Capacity Building
Our senior scientists provide direct assistance and training in field laboratory design staffing acquisition of instruments and supplies and project development and implementation in order to expand One Health research capacity for international partners in regions of high biodiversity.
Research
We conduct wildlife and environmental research projects for scientific and conservation impacts. Our primary research programs occur in the Peruvian Amazon where we carry out a long-term mark-recapture study of wild nonhuman primates bats birds small mammals and several other select species.
Field Research Training Program
Our training programs take two forms. First we provide short intensive field courses of approximately 10-14 days in duration. Participants learn a variety of field biology research and laboratory methodologies on topics ranging from tropical biology and primatology to genomics and biodiversity monitoring.
