In 2023, recreation northwest provided continued stewardship for fairhaven park including 4 work parties to remove more invasive species and install plants in our native plant gardens. The clearings of invasive blackberries by the 2021 work parties opened up the space for our organization to move forward on planning to create an outdoor…

In 2023, recreation northwest continued our collaboration with options high school incorporating parkscriptions into the avid program for 9TH grade students and 12TH grade students that began in the fall of the 2023-2024 school year.
