Where the work happens
Getting families fishing is a collaborative program with several government agencies, and ngo's that is funded through various grants and executed by "into the outdoors" education network (discover media works). This program utilizes made for television programming and corresponding curriculum to teach angling basics.
Getting families fishing is a collaborative program with several government agencies, and ngo's that is funded through various grants and executed by "into the outdoors" education network (discover media works). The future angler foundation is working with the industry and government angencies to help support and create new programs that are attracting new anglers. The faf through a grant in 2023 helped the forest service distribute ROD/REEL combinations that the foundation purchased with grant funds and distributed to forest service regions and…
The future angler foundation supports angling educational events conducted by volunteers who share their passion and knowledge of angling with potential new anglers. In 2024 107 in person future angler events were supported by the foundation.
