Getting families fishing is a collaborative program with several government agencies, and ngo's that is funded through various grants and executed by "into the outdoors" education network (discover media works). This program utilizes made for television programming and corresponding curriculum to teach angling basics.

The future angler foundation supports angling educational events conducted by volunteers who share their passion and knowledge of angling with potential new anglers. In 2020 a very limited number of in person future angler events were supported by the foundation due to covid 19 restrictions.
