The Field School is a space where kiddos in grades 1-8 can immerse themselves in the creative expanse of the wild world. Our classroom consists of more than 100 acres of forest meadow shoreline and marsh on land adjacent to Lake Champlain in Burlington Vermont.

We offer week long camps to kids in grades 1-5 and an embedded apprentice program for kids grades 6-8. In the summer each week offers two different themes for families to choose from. Camps include art swimming exploring carving primative skills archery canoeing and more. We also offer vacation camps during February and April breaks.

In the VT Natural History Teacher Training week long intensive adults learn to tease out the rich stories written in the fabric of Vermont's unique landscape. It's a story written in stone walls old apple trees sprawling oak trees and valleys carved into sandy banks.
