In alignment with the mission of another perspective, the SJF fishing tournament wasdesigned to encourage recreation and conservation in one of the most successful catch-and-release fisheries in north carolina. In 2023, the SJF fishing tournament organizationand hosting was transitioned to the sarah james fulcher foundation.

Another perspective also holds conservation easements on behalf of landowners, andhas continued to monitor and report on these conservation easements as required.
