In FY21, the organization was able to construct two inclusive playsets. The first was the completion of an inclusive playset in cedar island (at the cedar island volunteer) that serves the entire cedar island community.

In alignment with the mission of another perspective, the SJF fishing tournament was designed to encourage recreation and conservation in one of the most successful catch-and-release fisheries in north carolina: the bull red drum fishery of the pamlico sound. In its fourth year, attendance exceeded expectations.
