"Authenticity in the Classroom" Professional Development Program: In 2023, the Guild continued to focus on professional-development programs for educators in New York City and the tri-state area.

General Program

We offered a small number of philanthropically-funded programs to NYC DOE schools. In 2023, we continued to work with Lower East Side Preparatory High School in Manhattan to bring the Authentic Advisories training to the entire faculty as they prepared to design and implement an ambitious advisory program.

In-School Programming

In 2023, we deepened our ongoing partnership with the NYC Department of Education by offering Authenticity in the Classroom and Visual Storytelling to NYC DOE schools under Multiple Task Award Contracts (MTACs).
