Ocean Conservancy uses the best available knowledge, evidence and science, public opinion polling and political science to inform our conservation, advocacy and outreach to advance conservation solutions that benefit the ocean and the people and communities that depend on it.

Ocean Conservancy empowers citizens, businesses, governments and NGOs at the local, state, national and international level to reduce the global plastic footprint and to stop the flow of 11 million tons of trash and plastic flowing into the ocean annually.
