With assistance from many friends of the DaPonte String Quartet, the group made a successful transition to a musician led organization which will preserve chamber music in Maine for years to come.

In addition to playing several concert series to near capacity audiences, DSQF celebrated their 30th year by continuing their education offerings to high school and adult string players as well as collaborating with guest artists Mark Simons and Alexander Romanul for several concerts.
