In keeping with its mission, the Daponte String Quartet Foundation continued to bring world class performances to audiences along coastal Maine from Sanford to Eastport including a candlelight concert in the Old Walpole Meetinghouse which was built in 1772.

After a thorough search for 18 months, DSQF was able to restore a fourth player and hired Philipp Ellsner

DSQF continued its longstanding tradition of providing exceptional opportunities to youth and adult string players in 2024. The DaPonte String Quartet restarted the Institute hosting the Holly Quartet from the University of South Florida close instruction followed by a public concert. There was no cost to the students.
