SDC presently operates three supervised individual residential alternatives ("ira"). Ira's are certified residences under the auspices of opwdd. SDC has been approved to develop a supervised ira for 6 individuals with prader willi syndrome.

SDC is committed to providing services that recognize individual preferences and needs. Our day services program assists individuals with developmental disabilities to realize their highest level of independence, productivity and responsibility. Each individual is encouraged to exercise his or her full rights.

Community habilitation is a more efficient mechanism for the delivery of habilitative services in the community (I.E. Noncertified settings) to facilitate community inclusion, integration, and relationship building.
