Culinary Education and Scholarship Competition
Across 8 of CCAP's regions - Arizona, Chicago, DC/Maryland, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Philadelphia - CCAP works with 25,000 youth annually, to help them pursue educational and professional opportunities via the pathway of culinary arts.
Job Training, Career Advising, Internships and Apprenticeships
To help students find the avenue best suited to their interests and abilities, CCAP facilitates career exploration activities, designed to expose students to the many possible careers available to them, via job shadows, boot camps, and field trips.
Adult Programming
In New York City, CCAP ran multiple five-week Career Pathways programs to support adults interested in transitioning to the culinary industry. The training included food safety certification. CCAP then worked with employers to place graduates into entry-level, full-time positions.
