Litigation
In response to a myriad of civil rights challenges and with continuing robust pro bono law firm and community partnerships, LJP continues to engage in expansive human and civil rights litigation across our core issue pillars.
Advocacy, Community Outreach and Communications
We played a critical role in supporting legislative advocacy efforts to draft and enact state voting rights acts in pa, NJ, MD and FL. We also championed language access efforts in FL. Our criminal legal team focused on ending gang databases in nyc and on passing youth-protective legislation in ca.
Legal Education
Our cap leadership institute (cap) provided critical pre-law services for 1,425 students across the country.
