The creation & development program supports the creation, development and touring of new artistic projects around the U.S. The program allows relationships among diverse artists, presenters and community members to develop over time.
The artist engagement program directly fosters community exchange by subsidizing residencies of performing and visual artists with NPN partner organizations. Artists are paid to engage in community activities in a wide variety of venues such as cultural venues, schools, prisons, and community centers.
