Where the work happens
The creation & development program supports the creation, development and touring of new artistic projects around the U.S. The program allows relationships among diverse artist, presenters and community members to develop over time.
NPN, is committed to sharing its resources with its region, particularly smaller arts organizations and individual artists, through its local program. Direct support is available with a network of participating projects and fiscal sponsorship offering peer-to-peer exchange, technical assistance, financial management, capacity building…
The artist engagement program, directly fosters community exchange by subsidizing residencies of performing and visual artists with NPN partner organizations. Artists are paid to publicly present their work and engage in community activities in a wide variety of venues such as schools, prisons, and community centers.
