SBF serves the entire county of santa barbara, funding a wide range of initiatives, projects and organizations. In 2024, SBF awarded over 2,000 grants to nonprofit organizations. Grants are made through SBF from various types of funds, including: donor advised funds, donor designated funds and field of interest funds.
