Trinity Place Shelter is a 10-bed transitional shelter which has been open for 14 years and provides transitional housing for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults (ages 18-24), a population that is gravely underserved and at-risk.

Community Thanksgiving Dinner

For over 25 years, a seat-down and take-out Thanksgiving meal has served over 1000 neighborhood residents. In 2021, because of Covid, the meal was all take-out. The program is funded by individual donations of cash and donated food.

Mujeres En Progreso is a weekly support group for Spanish-speaking women who live in the neighborhood and who may be new to the United States. The group meets weekly and discusses individual concerns and participates in programming regarding health and wellness, domestic abuse, and AIDS prevention, together with access to local social…
