The los rios colleges foundation provided support to college departments and programs during the 2020-21 academic year. These resources allow college faculty, staff and administrators to improve existing programs, experiment with new and innovative approaches and support student success.

Due to the pandemic, direct student support was especially critical to help keep students in school and succeeding. $48,252 was awarded through the student emergency fund to assist with basic needs such as housing and food insecurity.

Thanks to generous corporate and individual donors, LRCF continued to remove barriers for students through the promise initiative. The los rios promise scholarship provided $500 awards to the first time, full time students with high financial need.
