Martin luther king prayer breakfast; conference & awards ceremony - several hundred people attended the conference. During the year ended may 31, 2021 the skanner foundation provided scholarships to 31 individuals and made donations to several other non-profit organizations.

Neighborhood Multi Media Training Center

Under this program, the skanner foundation, in partnership with portland community media and the skanner newspaper group developed a small neighborhood multi media training center for training and video production. This partnership will increase access to technology and will helpmeet the skill demands of the digital age.
