Ecological Restoration

We supported restoration efforts in the Andes-Amazon region of Peru using native species, including reforestation of areas affected by fire. These efforts contributed to habitat recovery, increased vegetation cover, and the re-establishment of ecological processes in degraded landscapes.

Scholarships

We supported a young Latin American conservationist in pursuing her Master's research at the University of Oxford, strengthening regional capacity in conservation science and fostering the next generation of environmental leaders. of critical resources and informing conservation priorities.

Biodiversity Science

We conducted camera trap research to quantify the ecological importance of mineral licks in lowland Amazonia, with a focus on primate communities and other vertebrates. This work is generating key insights into species use of critical resources and informing conservation priorities.
