Between july 1 2019 and june 30 2020 the olympia symphony performed three subscription concerts at the washington center for the performing arts, drawing an audience total of 2,316. We performed one free outdoor summer concert (estimated audience of 2,000), and one free holiday singalong to a standing-room-only audience of 983.

After the pandemic shutdowns, we provided digital engagement opportunities through virtual performances and interactive recitals. We provided "live music delivery" of small ensembles to neighborhoods and public spaces. We created selections of recorded music to accompany musical telegrams for our community.

We collaborated with student orchestras of greater olympia (sogo) for a community "conduct us" event, and provided mentorship for youth musicians through side-by-side rehearsal and observation.
