Wildland Advocacy

In 2024, wa wild championed the trust land transfer program to protect 2,200 acres managed by the wa department of natural resources. Wa wild organized a comment letter signed by 110 elected officials, businesses and conservation groups urging support for the nine proposed projects.

In 2024, wa wild continued to educate and mobilize washington residents around wildlands and waters issues. Wa wild held 34 community engagement and outreach events with 2,300 event attendees.
