Where the work happens
The affordable housing program began in response to the increasing cost of renting decent, safe and accessible housing for persons with developmental disabilities. The qualified individuals live in the housings owned by organization and pay 30% of their income toward rent and utilities. In 2020 this program served 186 tenants.
Homeownership program offers home buying assistance in king, snohomish, whatcom, yakima, spokane, clark, and skagit counties to people with disabilities and family members who will live with them. The organization also works with current homeowners anywhere in the state of washington that need help to avoid foreclosure.
The group home program was originally established to provide residential suppport services to children with developmental disabilities. However, the organization has shifted its service population to adults in order to continue serving the children who were reaching their adult age at the organizaiton.
