Transformative Stories Description

Transformative stories autobiographical monologues encompass gender-diverse leaders presenting artfully crafted personal stories about their hopes, dreams, and experiences of negotiating oppression and liberation.

Immigrant leaders with daca status present artful autobiographical monologues about the challenges and contributions of the immigrant community. The project is one of the very few in the U.S. In which immigrants with daca status perform their own stories & are featured as protagonists.

Justus Description

The justus project includes an autobiographical monologue workshop with formerly incarcerated community members and impactful theater performances. Performances also include legislators, law enforcement, and grantmakers co-reading the stories of the formerly incarcerated monologists.
