Smart North is a 501(c)3 non-profit that was founded in 2020 by a diverse set of tech entrepreneurs and academics. The organization works in partnership with public-private-academic?civic-community leaders and organizations in a number of Minnesota?s rural and urban marginalized communities. Smart North's mission is to drive digital equity and transform livability in MN. We believe that in a post-pandemic and George Floyd world digital equity is the next big equalizer to successfully partake in the 21st-century digital economy and livability.
