CFS sells local produce through our food hub services to facilitate NONPROFITS/COMMUNITY based organizations to purchase local produce for their own food assistance programming through their grant funding. We sell local produce to capital area food bank through their federal local food purchase agreement.

Food Is Medicine (fim)

Community farmshare partners with community based organizations, clinics and nutrition educators to support low income residents facing food insecurity and managing diet related chronic disease (and addressing disease prevention in their households).

Farm to School (f2s)

Community farmshare provides weekly fresh produce to referred families at high farms rates montgomery county public schools, providing a key nutrition benefit during the agricultural season (including summer months when healthy food access is challenging with reduced school meals programs).
