Where the work happens
Omaha Better Birth Project served 150 low-income and teen families through the Doula Access Grants Program. This is a 65% increase in supported families from 2024. Through this program, families receive access to funds to help pay for birth or postpartum doula services.
Our community outreach and support program provided essential baby and postpartum supplies to more than 150 low-income and teen families. Through this program, we distributed items such as strollers, Pack 'n Plays, car seats, diapers, wipes, baby carriers, bottles, and hygiene kits to more than one hundred families in need.
Through the Fresh Start Diaper Program, we provided more than 400 low-income and teen families with supplemental diapers and wipes. This program closed in March 2025 due to organizational and volunteer capacity limits.
