Where the work happens
Adoption guardianship home studies for resource families (aghsrf) - alaska adoption services was awarded this grant through the state of alaska office of children services. Aas receives home study referrals for all children in foster care who are in the process of adoption or guardianship with their foster PARENTS/KINSHIP placement.
Infant Placement
Alaska adoption services matches prospective adoptive families with expectant parents to safely place infants in their forever families. We work to ensure expectant parents are provided with education, support, compassion and empathy as they choose whether to parent or make an adoption plan.
Community Diaper Pantry
Alaska adoption services saw the necessity in the community to provide diapers free-of-charge to families in need. The pantry is open one to two days a week and provides 50 diapers and one package of wipes per family.
