Garden Program

Middle school and high school students on the autism spectrum maintained the learning 4 life farm gardens as part of their school year curriculum. The gardens contain a total of 62 raised garden beds. 314X8FT raised garden beds are in the unheated hoop house and 31 4X8FT raised garden beds are in our outdoor garden.

Barnraiser Campaign

Installed electrical service and lines, septic system, well and well pump, plumbing rough-in and lines, concrete floor, workshop interior framing, access drive and drylot for our 40x80 foot alpaca barn and student workshop and retail shop. Community support from foundations, local businesses and individuals provided funding.

Beekeeping Program

Students learn about and help with our 3 well established beehives in our apiary location, overseen by our beekeeper mentors at KP honey farms and beekeeping supplies. 90 middle school and high school students on the autism spectrum and associated staff observed and assisted with beekeeping tasks when our beekeepers volunteer their time…
