Outsiders Anonymous successfully opened the only 100% free gym in Texas that serves as a community center and drop-in center for the Central Texas area. At this location, OA provided free fitness training and group classes, along with support groups and certified peer supportive services to leverage the recent research demonstrating the…

Outsiders Anonymous organized and hosted Recovery on the Plaza, a free recovery festival in Hays County. This event drew over 1000 individuals and brought together over a dozen organizations to further the awareness and understanding of substance use disorder and the resources available in the Hays County area.

Outsiders Anonymous opened the second Free Narcan Stand in Texas, allowing local residents to access Narcan and other harm reduction items for free. They were the only means for free access to these items in the county.
