For 2021, BRICC supported efforts to create Black joy, create capacity, create healing, provide mentorship/training opportunities for Black people impacted by the carceral state and its systems, outdoor community events, development of new video series, podcasts training and development, healing circles, youth forums, pop-up art outlets…

BRICC also supported other BIPOC led community organizations during the pandemic with the provision of PPE, technical support with conversion to online events/programming, and the use and training on equipment to convert in-person events to online (as needed).

All of this work was through the generous support from the City of Seattle Office of Civil Rights, the Seattle Foundation, Group Health Foundation, City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, Amazon in the Community Support, BECU Foundation, Individual Donors in our community, and BUILD's equipment rental program.
