Internship programover the course of 2024, cdri engaged 43 high school and college youth in its year-long internship program. The program aims to raise capacity in young people to contribute meaningfully to the progress and development of their communities.
Academic tutoringcdri offers academic tutoring to middle school students to enhance their intellectual abilities and address educational achievement gaps associated with socio-economic status. During 2024, 145 students participated in cdri tutoring in san diego, pasadena, and san pablo.
Summer programsduring the summer of 2024, cdri hosted middle school summer programs in three cities: san diego, pasadena, and san pablo. A total of 129 middle school and elementary school students participated. Additionally, 63 high school and college-age youth were trained and engaged as tutors and coordinators of the summer programs.
